Wow, seeing an on-rails shooter entry was a pleasant surprise! This type of game really doesn't get enough love, so this is a very welcome change of pace.
That said, while the visuals and music are cool, and do a good job of creating an earie atmosphere, the game feels really unfinished. You don't have health, ammo, there's only one type of enemy that doesn't even attack you... I understand that it's a demo, but those are pretty basic features which even a demo should have.
Also, I have no idea how the game relates to the theme of the jam. What "anomalous entity" are we encountering? The glowing, red cube from the intro?
Still, it's competently put together and has an intriguing premise, while representing an under-appreciated genre of games. That has to count for something.
Thank you for the compliments and the constructive feedback. We have a lot more planned for this game after the Jam trust me, there were enemies, ui, ammo, etc. all ready to go. So I would expect in the next few days that we update it. Glad you played it!
Was not expecting this kind of gameplay but its very cool and unique. Visuals are perfect!
I would have liked more involvement from the player though since all enemies die so easily and you can shoot infinitely with no penalty. Good luck with where you take this, it seems very cool!
Thanks for the feedback, best of luck to you on the jam!
This game is absolutely crushing it! Love it!!!
That's dope thanks! And sorry they killed you off in Half Life
There's a really strong base here but I feel the game lacks the feeling of being in danger. The cyborg prisoners are a neat design, but once you realize they move really slow and die to 3 clicks it feels more like doing a chore than fighting for your life. The jam's theme of anomalous entities could have been used better here, like having props randomly turn into anomalous monsters and rush at the player, or the camera suddenly teleporting into a room in which you are surrounded the basic cyborg enemies .
I definitely agree. So thank you for your feedback and thanks for playing. After the jam we will update ASAP

Thanks!
I am a big sucker for the PS1/Saturn aesthetic especially when it comes to horror games. The environment/ art style is excellent, don't change anything about it. The camera moves are especially on point but I think you just need more variety in the enemies. Not just in design, but behavior as well. In House of the Dead the zombies would behave differently from screen to screen, they'd pick up scientists and throw them, barge out of doors, throw axes, etc. And depending on where you shot them a different piece would explode. I think you have something good here, reminded me of a type of game that's long since died out.
Awesome! I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing and yeah we have some big plans for it! And yeah our main influences were games like house of the dead, area 51 etc.
First off, good work fam. :)
It looks like you have a fun little base for a game, I like that you called it a demo.
The pacing needs some work and from I can tell there are no times that you take damage from the enemies which makes it a bit dull and kind of made me feel bad for killing the ones that were just locked up. I dig the art style and hope y'all keep working on it.
Side note, this seems to be a development build, not shipping so you can see the print strings go out while playing. Oh and if you force capture on the mouse it should prevent the player from being able to cursor out of the game while aiming for the next target.
I appreciate the feedback. These issues I was aware of, and if I had more time was going to fix. After the jam I will definitely patch the game. Thanks for playing!
