This is really fun and well done! I especially like that all moves are predictable and can be planned out. The fact that you can see the enemy action points for the next round helps a lot.

I like your concept of using dice.

thank you for your feedback krub! I used to play a lot of Board game so I take many inspiration from board game krub.

Very creative, I also enjoyed the simplistic pixel art. Good job!

Amazing game!
Really creative way of using dice in the game. I really liked the fact that I could assign dice the way I wanted. If you assign enough ammo in the previous round you are able to shoot once move once and then shoot again. Wich felt really great.

The AP counter on the enemies really helps in figuring out what the will do and plan around that.

Graphics are really nice (especially the info graphic). Music and sound fit together and round off the visuals.

The only thing that I might have done differently is limiting the number of squares you can shoot by the actual dice roll number you assign to that action. So if I use a 3 to shoot my shot only travels 3 squares and so on. This way you would add an additional tactical element to it, since it currently doesn't matter what dice I assign to shooting.

But anyways, good job!

hi Don, thank you for your detailed feedback!

yes, there could be more interesting way with the dice selection.

This final version is already evolved a lot from my 1st draft in paper, The more you play (especially when you repeatly playtest it) the  more idea you have.

My 1st Draft you can even shoot x time based on x value of the dice, It seems to work fine in my head but once I playtest it I know for sure it make everything too easy.

but at the end I gotta stop feature creep and ship the game haha.

Thank you again for playing my game, have a good day!

Nice smooth movement. Fun gameplay, I love figuring out how to best use my die rolls. The sounds are quite nice, the death animations are smooth.

I really loved this game! It reminded me of a game I've played in another jam. It was one of the winners of the GMTK roll of the dice jam. Nice job. There are a lot of little details in here that make it very polished. I really like how you have a sound effect for everything. The art is really nice and the concept is really nice as well. I will admit it took me a minute to figure out how to play but I knew I just wasn't doing something right at first. What I should click or drag I was confused about for a second. The other thing you should be aware of is that the game viewport size or dimensions in the itch.io page are pretty big and could barely fit on my laptop screen and additionally the little tags on the itch.io page were covering up the dice buttons sometimes like the "rate for blank jam" and follow tags. I hope you know what I mean.

Anyway, great job! great game. very polished and fun. I'd play many more levels and I think a lot could be done with this basic concept

hi there, thank you for your feedback!

I heard of GMTK but didn't know they have a dice theme as well.

Noted on the 'how to play' that you mention, maybe my gameplay required more tutorial than a still infographic OR maybe I just make it too complex for a game jam.

also noted on viewport, I'll keep that in mind for future project.

Thank you again for playing my game :)

you can change the dimensions of your game in the itch settings for your game! :) you could make it a little smaller if you wanted. and I thought the infographic was great! it looked nice.
