Did you credit all assets in-game (including your own) as required by the rules?

Not in-game but on the game page

How did your team implement the focus, and optionally, the theme?
The game is a look into the story of Lucy's life, allowing the player to make decisions that will affect possibilities and outcomes to her story. The theme of "make it fly" is put into her pet bird, which is her symbol of hope and security. Due to lack of time this projects is unfortunately still just a prototype, over the coming weeks we'll for sure finish it properly with multiple more endings and many more interactables + story elements!

Team Size

Quartet (4)

Will you continue work on the game after the jam?

Yes - fun side project

Which diversifiers did you use, if any? (optional)

Transcend Language

What tools did your team use to construct the game? (optional)
Java with Processing library (no game engine because we're crazy...)

The art is so pretty! I really liked the music choice as well, and you managed to tell a story without words so very wonderfully. I will say that I did encounter a small bug (I think?) where the character would keep moving even if I wasn't holding down an arrow key. Given it's a prototype though, I think that's entirely forgivable.

The concept behind this story is so genuinely sweet, and I think a lot of people (myself included, if I'm being honest) will find it relatable. I can't wait to see what else you do with it!

I liked it! I think it really did manage to convey a lot of story and emotions without text. The music is nice, and the art is great. I like the different day/night/evening versions of the locations. I only wish there was a bit more of it :)
