The art style is really something, it's really good and the gameplay of a fighter was fun with just one button. Overall the game idea was solid.

Love the art style, and the idea.

Not a big fan of having to install the game maker.

However,  sometimes the controls were a bit weird, I think there were maybe too many options bind to one key. And sometimes after defeat the enemy character starts the round by laying down.

But overall, the idea is solid, and the art style and animations are great, the gameplay a bit wonky at times but for the restriction of the one button, I think you did a great job.

Love the art style and animation, and the fighting was pretty satisfying. A very unique single input game.

A really beautiful game, the art style was very nice and the animations very smooth.

Defiantly went to town on the single input which was used for a variety of moves.

However on going to play the game i was require to install a component for game maker which i'm not sure if was against the rules or not. Either way installed anyway based on the look of the game and was not disappointing.

The only thing i will say was it felt very strange not being able to move, i sort of stood there waiting for the opponent to eventually come and attack me so i could do anything. When he did i attempted to get off a variety of these different moves but found winning really just involves pressing space as fast as you can.

Love the concept and the execution of the game overall, wondering if maybe a fighting game isn't  the greatest idea for a single input game. That being said i did really enjoy it and would love to see a version that allows for more input!

Thanks for the feedback man, it seems a lot of people are thrown off at first by the lack of normal movement. Obviously since I made the game I was used to using the somersault kick to move around, but it's not immediately intuitive.

In terms of a more fully fledged version, I was planning on using a similar mechanic to this in a full RPG at some point (obviously with more freedom of control) where encounters with enemies put you into a Mortal Kombat style fight.

Well made, but i found a bug where i'm stuck in the air lol. love the graphics, animation and style of the game though! You should be proud of yourself

Very well made game. Beautiful art style and creative game mechanics, especially for a one button game.

Absoulutly love the art style you went for, as said befor the only thing i can could say is that the different attacks can become a bit confusing with the high speed game paly.  I feel like some moves may not get fully used as the player is being attacked at a quick pace.

Apart from that I belive this is a really good game well done!

Wow, this really is incredibly good looking for how long you had to work on it, great job there.

Honestly my main criticism is that you're maybe trying to do too much within the single button scope. I could see this being the start of a really neat little fighting game, but without the ability to properly move and dodge without relying on the jump attack, it feels a bit unresponsive, which again is totally understandable given the constraints.

Amazing work!

Thank you, and yeah man I completely agree,  one of the main aspects of fighting games is to be able to dodge & counter your opponents attacks on the go, but this kind of turned into a "wait for your opponent to do something" sim. xD
