This game is very close to what we did as well, I couldn't believe when I saw you also did a space invader and a pong !
There's a ton of interesting graphics effect. Unfortunately, I happened to soft lock the game.
I did use the code in 'override.txt' to get out once, but I talked to the guy again and got trapped. I suppose that since I had the text file open in notepad, your write access were denied, and as such I got trapped for eternity.
Other than that, the game is tricky and it feels rewarding when you find the solution. Good job !
