Hey, I've never made a game before, but this has inspired me and I want to make a Halloween-themed, dating sim. I can write and create the art necessary. I'm just not sure how to program. If anyone has any tutorial recommendations or easy to learn game engines/programs, or is willing to help me as a programmer, please let me know! Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the fold! It depends on the type of game you want to make but, for VN, the Indie Standard is Ren'py. The Ren'Py Visual Novel Engine (renpy.org

It's light, Python based, and has built-in tutorials.
