The colour palette and pixel art is just chef's kiss! I love how interactive the story is, especially after realising that there was another 50% of achievements that I didn't get on my first run!

I felt a little nostalgic playing this because it brought me to the time when I was in school and was really into grindy RPGs, so thank you for that! :')

Thanks for the feedback!  We wanted to make something with some interactivity though it complicated things a bit and we were literally testing and fixing issues minutes before the jam's deadline lol.

The achievements were a last moment afterthought but they're very helpful to make the player discover if they missed something. Glad they were helpful!

And that afterthought really paid off! With this, you encourage a whole new layer of replayability so that's really really cool imo!

Intriguing story, with mechanics and progression that neatly tie into it! The characters are interesting little challenges, with some tough choices along the way. I also give a ton of credit for the artsyle - the limited color palette is a tricky thing to use well, and the glow and layered warping effects accentuate it nicely. Congrats!

Thanks for the feedback! I also loved the end results with Zevumara's art. At first, we worked with generic placeholders but once we replaced the backgrounds and characters the VN changed completely!

I enjoyed this! It was a bit tedious (but I'm not much of an RPG grinding person, even despite how much more I always let myself grind when i do play them), and on the first floor I didn't realize I didn't have to get a whole other 20 souls until it started telling me "just 5 more" because seeing the number of souls I had go down while I still needed to gather more kind of ticked me off, but it was less annoying since I already started gathering extras for future healing purposes before turning them in. I like the story and the art :] The music was also nice and fit the game well.

Thanks for the feedback! The idea was of the grinding was that that character was deceiving you making you collect more souls. At one point it becomes obvious but even if if it can become frustrating at first, the souls gathered are actually useful for a certain thing later, so you won't need to grind anything again.
