Looting the enemy after a kill is very satisfying in your game, although collecting the loot seems to have no effect. Keep the good work!

Hey dude I played your game today and can see it is in early production! I hope you have proven to yourself that you van make these types of games!

if you want to continue working on this project which I would love to keep an eye on, I want to give yo some feedback which I wrote down while playing!

The health system does seem to be working, but I suggest a gameover screen and maybe reloading the scene to make it look like the player respawned. The map loading seems to be in the wrong order, camerabounds were missing the first time I  was in the area but corrected themself when I returned.  did enjoy thepixel art and sound effects though, also love the types of systems you combined into this game.

Please make sure to also give my submission a try as it seems very similar to yours!

This game is in very early production, Thank you for all of the great, I have added items to the game that I have not completed the resources for. This was really just a concept proving mission to see if i could make this type of game.

Nice start to a game, seems like it is very early in production

  • Innovation – Feels like a top-down zelda-like
  • Fun – The game starts up instantly with no tutorial or guidance, so I wasn't really sure what the goal or game loop is.  The controls felt smooth, but fighting was difficult on keyboard due to the position of the attack buttons and I couldn't tell the difference between the 3 different attacks.  I explored the 2 rooms, and couldn't figure out how to open the chests heh, and the collected items didn't seem to do anything?
  • Graphics – Very nice pixel art
  • Audio – Simple, but loud in my headphones.  My windows was at 50% volume, and had to turn it down to 10%
  • Polish – No polishing done yet because it's an early WIP

Great job on starting the game!  Please check out my game if you like Metroidvanias or platformers :D
