where did the last half hour of my life go
Got the "Papers Please!" vibe. Had fun reading through the things I sign, yeah I like reading! Nice touch on the strategy aspect and the witty text. Seems polished enough and nicely packaged, so to say. It doesn't seem rushed or have any noticeable flaws/bugs etc keeping it flowing smoothly. BGM is apt and goes well with the monotonous-work-like gameplay. Gets repetitive soon though. After day 7, I expected some more different "edicts" to sign but I guess stock market investments on "time" was not a bottomless pit for more and more additions to the game ;-) Also, clear explanations on how-to-play through text and visuals on were charming.
I am a master of logistics, until day 4, tops. I like this game haha.
This is such a creative idea! Love it! Might be worth to expand on the concept a bit!
Thank you! I'd love to expand on it - of course, that was planned in development too, but time ran out :P I'm glad you liked it though!
My thoughts after playing your game:
I didn't see how the game fits into the theme.
Good
Area of improvement
Thanks for the comment! The idea for the theme was you're usually playing as some adventurer, in some action packed fight against the final boss - but in this case, you're playing as the final boss, doing admin work instead. I can see that it might need to be a bit clearer, though! And that's a good point on the content amount, there's not really too much to do. I had more planned, but time ran out, as it always does! It'd be great if there was more to do. Thank you for the feedback!
I think this game works really well. It's a simple game, but it works as it's intended to. I guess after a few paper, you do get a bit bored since you have complete freedom to do anything without consequence or rewards (money, but it seems meaningless).
Overall love the art and the simplicity!
