I enjoyed the colorful theme and graphics and had fun playing the game! I liked that the difficulty wasn't too hard or too easy and that the movement of the dolphin felt very smooth and responsive. I liked how the fish were different colors based on how many points they gave, too, and I thought the difference in speeds for the fish and the sharks made the game feel challenging and addictive. I especially liked that the sharks were so large since it increased the difficulty and made the game feel more challenging.

This game is simple but fun! I got a score somewhere over 1000 before I died, so it's definitely possible to score but not too easy. The movement for the dolphin feels very nice, and at first it was a little jarring how he moves slower to the left than the right, but I got used to it and I understand why you made that decision. The fish are fun to collect and give good feedback. One suggestion I would have is to make the higher scoring fish move faster so it is a greater challenge and more rewarding to collect because on the surface it felt like it was just as easy to collect as the regular fish. I think my only suggestion for your game is about the visuals, as the art is very pixelated and doesn't look to be made that way. I think either making the sprites higher resolution or finding pixel art versions of the graphics would greatly improve the visuals. I also noticed the background has the same issue, but it also doesn't seamlessly loop. I think you should look into @jjdeglow 's suggestion on fixing that. Overall it is a very fun game to play!

Also please consider adding the game to be playable in browser, rather than having to download it, extract it, and play it with a live server in VS.

I think I replied to you blackboard post about this idea, and I think it came out really true to your idea! the fish controls well, and it's pretty easy to move around and grab the good fish and avoid the sharks. The art all looks nice, but I think all that happened for your background is that the end of the slide doesn't line up with the beginning, if nothing else, a decent way to work around that is just to use the same background over again but mirrored!

I like your idea for the background fix, that would definitely work and without having to find a new background image. Good suggestion!

I like the underwater theme you chose for the game! Your art came out great. I like the mechanics of your game too where some fish are worth more then others. It really makes me think whether I want to go after that goldfish or not because I see that shark coming right behind it so I'm not sure if I want to risk it haha! I liked your idea of a scrolling background, I just wished that it would have been seamless. Photoshop is great for that kind of thing! I would have liked to see more buttons in your game as well to make it feel more interactive. The alert on the website page kind of breaks that immersion of being in the game. You have good mechanics and clean art though, great job!
