That was very fun to play!  but the horror vanishes as soon as you find out that dying has no impact on your progression. Also the watch takes too long so i ended up running everywhere and just make a half turn each time i see the monster.

btw this is my 2nd playthrough to change my first rating. The game improved a bit, but the enemy AI still bothers me and is the biggest issue in the game because they feel lifeless and you'll teleport back to the main entrance for no reason of knowing why.  Overall, the gameplay so far is still great, I love the claustrophobic feeling of going inside the halls and encouraging players to explore to find the keys while the enemy chase you in circles. Music and sound design is a spot on. Needs a lot of polish but yeah its game jam. I still gave a reasonable rating because of the exploration and the cat and mouse-like gameplay (which I love).

i wasn't able to finish on this playthrough, but I'd like to come back and give it another go. This one was really well made, I'm impressed with the size of the level. I ultimately didn't find much use in the vibe check, I think it takes too long to actually execute. But aside from that, neat game with solid mechanics. And I appreciate the addition of voice acting, as well.

thank you for the review. if I'm being totally honest. at a certain point of play testing. I could no longer tell if it was going to be quick or take forever for people to complete. I hope key placement wasn't too confusing. I wanted to place them in a way that would encourage you to explore and give you the feeling that you're unlocking a large structure. Alas I'm not sure if I got that across. But regardless thank you So much for playing. and I hope you enjoyed your time with this

I think it's a good size given progress is saved on death. I did waste a lot of time at the start being super careful because I thought I'd have to get the keys again, not taking that into account it feels like a good length. I'd say the level design came across well, it felt more like expanding the level than just a linear progression.

Great environment and a cool atmosphere - alittle unsure of what the goal is and what the controls are/do. Monsters are a little unbalanced and I'd argue that cutting them all together might make for a tighter experience. Regardless, well done!

thank you for the kind words. and sorry for the problems you may have experienced with the monster. our programmer "zegaren" had really spent the time and dived in on bug fixing yesterday to make it a better experience. I think if you were to try it now it would feel much better. also the goal of the game is to make it to the end retrieve the artifact and get out alive. I regret that I didn't make that more clear to the player. but regardless thank you for playing and leaving feedback
