  • I loved the ambient sound and the atmosphere it created, and eventually was able to find a path home. I found the idea of deconstructing the horror game by making the threats illusory interesting, and that helped me focus on and enjoy the audio without having too much dread!

Creepy atmosphere and nice sound. For the first time I was a little bit annoyed because of didn't know what to do. But in the second time I try to relax and be in that atmosphere and it will be interesting to explore this!
Good job!

The setting was nice, but I did not know what to do the entire time.

Definitely creepy to wander through dark woods with all of these sounds around you. From the description on the game page, I'm wondering if the whole point was to realize that sounds are just sounds and can't hurt you? I have to admit I spent the whole time just walking through the trees and never really found anything except a grave at one point, and I wasn't sure what to do with it. I think it would have helped to have just a little more handholding, like a description of something I needed to find, or a compass, or something so I had an idea of what I was aiming for.

Great use of ambient sound to create tension!  I don't know if there are multiple camp fires, but I think I wandered around in a big circle. It was fun exploring though!

Movement feels pretty good, fast paced, would be nice to see a stamina bar.

Great game. I really like the use of sound, Like leaves rustling or the sound of movement behind you. It keeps the player on their toes. The overall atmosphere is also really good. I even managed to reach the end! Also it is really fun that the player is able to climb up almost anything (Even though I'm 99% sure this was not intended), It made exploring the huge map a lot more fun.

Some feedback I could think of was that the sound would be even more scary if it was actual 3d sound, since now it sounds like its behind you, but if you turn around its still behind you. But this is just a very small detail.

Overall I really enjoyed the game.

Great game, Keep it upโ™ฅ

Thank you for playing our game. Yes, we are aware of the "tree traversal" issue, but we haven't yet figured out how to solve it without restricting the player's movement in other areas. We will fix the sound and make it truly three-dimensional; we are working on it. We will add it immediately after the end of the jam.
