I have to start out by saying that Squirrel Squad as an absolutely adorable name for a team :3

I'm guessing that either my PC is being cranky or you guys didn't get a chance to finish some stuff up cos as was mentioned in the comment below, I also saw a lot of debug messages. It was sorta constantly scrolling through something to do with lighting I think, I can't quite remember, and there was a phone shaped screen layered on top of the regular fullscreen camera view which I couldn't manage to figure out how to get rid of. I didn't manage to finish the game cos for some reason, it wouldn't let me interact with stuff when I pressed e. I did try hitting a bunch of other keys, but none of them appeared to do anything aside from opening more debug stuff.

Anyways, I still had fun wandering around! I've never been to an actual corn maze before, but I usually spend most of every October visiting as many scare attractions in my country as possible :D Sadly, due to Covid, I can't do any of that this year :( This game was a nice reminder of what it's like to go to places like that though :3 My favourite scare place in the UK is set on a farm!

I loved the music, it was really catchy + perfect for Halloween <3 Also the voice acting as well + the aesthetics! It was a really awesome setting :3

The gamplay was a little confusing. There was a ton of debug messages to the side of the screen and the camera(?) view was a little off. There was a prompt for VR support but I didn't have the equipment for that, so that might be it, but it would be nice to mention that somewhere. The graphics were pretty nice to look at though. Also, upon learning that this music was completely original, I have to give you guys massive props for the music! That song was really good! While I wasn't sure how to play the game, I'm still a huge fan of the art and sound/music design. Good job on the game!

Thank you! Our music composer, Lauren Pham, created it just for this Scream Jam. She is awesome!
