Unfortunately I won't have a controller in time for the closure of this jam - it seems like this game is controller-only as I can't register any input - but thanks for submitting to the SCREAM EMPIRE jam!

Nice little game. Definitely has potential to improve! :)
Here's some feedback:
- The game crashes when you die.
- I think the player should have less health, because 1 round of this game goes on for way to long.
- It would be nice if the character would automatically look into the direction he's running towards.
- To improve replayability maybe add a scoreboard at the end.
- Loved that you added controller support. Thank you for this!
Hey, unfortunately I think I encountered a bug that doesn't allow me to start the game. Upon game launch, when I'm asked to press any button, the game remains unresponsive and doesn't in fact start anything. Is this fixable?

Nope, mouse and keyboard.
Sorry about that. I programmed it with controller in mind, but forgot to note that in the description. I will update that now.
Liked the controls and the visuals (skull spiders are awesome!)
