How to exit shop?
You click on the kid. I should have made it more clear but oh well. I'll fix it in a post jam update along with a few bugs.
Cool game. I really like the music and the pixel art is cute. The gameplay is really simple, but I kinda like spacing my swings to hit enemies. That said, it is really easy though, and it makes it hard to grind for a highscore when the rounds are so long. But overall, it's a neat little game and I absolutely love the splash screen thing at the start. Good Job!
Thank you for playing, and for the feedback, we wanted to add in a lot more ideas, like an equipment slot, and some more backstory to the items in the collectibles tab, however sadly weren't able to get to them. also when you say its a hard game to grind, do you mean shorten out the increments of time that the wave takes up? or add more enemies and scaling the difficulty more?
I mean make the action a bit more dense. Both shortening the wave time and adding enemies/scaling the difficulty faster would help. Reducing down time would also be good. The main thing to keep in mind is that if your game is about getting highscores, people are going to be playing your game many times so you want it to be as easy to play another round as possible.
The game is very good, but i think its weak on the theme of collecting.
