How did you choose to implement the Theme: Tavern Stories in your game?
There are many taverns in the game, and the main character is a bard performing in them. You can tell stories as part of the performance (battle).
Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes, we did all of them. The main story revolves around a citrine ring.
Does your game contain AI-generated assets?
No

Interesting combat system! I liked collecting the different costumes and they even came with their own unique move which is a nice touch and sometimes the dialogue from the NPCs would be different depending on what you were wearing which is neat. It's also very fun to watch the train move from location to location. 🚂
I unfortunately ran into a situation where I can't progress the story any further. It has to do with the fight in the jail. After I win the fight the journal doesn't update and there doesn't seem to be any event that triggers from winning that fight (I did lose against them before, so this happened to me when I left the jail to level up some more and coming back to fight them again in a rematch and winning it). Instead, talking to them again after just winning the fight triggers the battle once more without any way for it to go beyond just that loop.
Oof, sorry you hit a bug. We'll investigate!
I fixed the bug and uploaded a new version. I think your saved game should be ok to continue now...
Thanks for the feedback!
Yup! It's fixed now, I was able to play until the end, thank you!
The game had a lot of character. Especially in the locations. I loved collecting costumes and ended up
battlingpreforming a bit every time i saw a new one.
