How did you choose to implement the Theme: Tavern Stories in your game?
The four main characters' paths converge at Blackout Tavern, where they exchange stories that provide different pieces of a greater puzzle.

Did you implement any of the optional Bonus Challenges, and if so, which ones?
Yes. For Tales of Adventures, each chapter (or "episode") presents a story from one of the main characters. The "Aletheian Ring" is a citrine ring that ties the stories together.

Does your game contain AI-generated assets?

No

Nice, high-energy entry! Sharing some feedback because I think it's helpful in gamejams.

What I liked:

  • Added effects in dialogue to make it interesting
  • How you incorporated the Buh Ba Bam! title
  • Getting the player playing quickly (as the thief)
  • The combats were well balanced once I got the hang of all the mechanics

What might make it even better:

  • I felt overwhelmed by the tutorials and combat mechanics — perhaps you could delay introducing the boosting aspect or other elements until later
  • I lost interest during the lengthy dialogue after the thief part... I felt like it turned into a visual novel and that wasn't what I was expecting. Once Episode 1 actually started, I enjoyed it more.
