This is great! I love the attention to detail in that the house's lights turn on or off depending on the time of day and the fact that there are weather effects. The fact that you can individually paint houses and that the tiles adapt based on neighboring tiles(like the rivers and paths) is super cool.

I also like the idea of a stress-free town builder, I love just being able to build and design things without having to worry about zoning or disasters and things of that sort. Great job!

Host

This is superb. I never expected anyone to make their own town builder engine in MV for a game jam, it was a very pleasant surprise indeed!

I really like how you can change the day to night and have full control over weather effects - super fun. I'm looking forward to seeing what people make and will follow for updates.

Cute and cozy! Pretty impressive that it was created with RPG Maker!

Disclaimer: I really enjoy making maps. I also generally do not like the locked in gird system offered in RPG Maker MZ. I also prefer intractable tutorials, but that is more preference.

The Thoughts

I loved building with this map! It felt alive as I played. Thank you for the fun Town Builder!

Regarding the Gameplay: the text was cut off, making the tutorial's instructions incomplete. I also felt the tutorial was a bit long for my taste.
