Congratulations!
Potions for Holly has been voted top of RPG Maker Not an RPG game jam by myself and other creators!
My Steam Friend code is: 1739391776. If you add me I can deliver your prize as promised.
Look forward to hearing from you :)
Holy smokes! Thank you guys! I am blown away! Everyone made such wonderful entries - I did not expect this :D I hope everyone had as much fun as I did :)
Once again, thank you for hosting the jam - I will be reaching out.
I would like to inform everyone that due to some mix-up with the scores, I am not the only winner of the jam. I am happy to announce that we are joint winners with lakeanemone, the creator of Limerence. Congratulations to lakeanemone for their awesome game and well-deserved win!
This is great - I don't think I've ever seen an alchemist/pharmacist sim done in RPG Maker before (although there probably are some.)
Everything works very nicely in what could potentially be a nightmare to setup with events/conditionals etc so I congratulate you on a job well done.
I liked the audio, visuals and the characters with their good humour, everything was spot on.
Thank you, this is so nice to "hear"! <3
And thank you for hosting the jam! You have provided me with the perfect excuse to make this nightmare/dream come true :D I've had this game concept for a while now, but I don't think I would have went through with it without the jam.
I was not prepared for the twist with the one potion (allusion, to not ruin the surprise). I was even less prepared for the huge tug on my emotions at the end. Who knew I would become so attached so fast?
The artwork felt like more implication than definition—it felt right for a game where the outcome of actions can feel just as ambiguous.
Thanks a lot! This is exactly what I was going for - I am glad I was able to convey it :) Hope you enjoyed the game!
I did! I loved the subtle connections too! Especially when the outcomes come from both sides.
