Hello! I streamed the game, the idea is pretty cute, even if i got really confused since I didn't understand how mechanics worked. The art looks pretty nice, I really like the visuals of the city - even if some parts seem very AI generated, like the title screen or the seagull pixel art.
I didn't really get the multiplayer, but I didn't really play in a group so I don't know.
I stopped since I didn't know what I was supposed to do after trying every interaction I could, even with the hints of the goddess.
While I suspect the title screen myself (fiverr)... the seagull pixel art was actually my second attempt at it after the corvid protag. :(
Might I ask whether you ended up stuck in Old Town or in the Mountains? I kinda phoned in my ending for Old Town with a cliffhanger, so it might be a bit vague to find that... :/
I got stuck in the first gameplay section, the small town after leaving the mountain. It wasn't clear what I had to do, and I tried interacting with multiple things without results. Even with the actions.
I'm incredibly impressed with the time and effort that went into such a cute and wholesome little game! The concept feels fresh, the map is polished and creative, and the characters all give great insight into how the developer thinks and I definitely found myself wanting to go deeper. I also got stuck at a few points but was guided pretty well by the narrative flow.
Technically speaking there are definitely some kinks to work out: Experienced some technical issues that trapped my character on the map and had to restart the game (thankfully the autosave feature works like a charm!) and then wasn't too sure how to progress after making all of my package deliveries. That being said, I feel like these sorts of things are to be expected for a game developed by single person on a tight timeline. All in all, very cute, fun, and interesting. I highly recommend giving it a playthrough!
Thanks for the awesome game, Jamie!

I played the game for a bit, and I liked it so far.
The maps look great. Finally a dev who puts time in their maps. The tilesets need their settings checked though. I can go places I shouldn't be able to go, and my character is hidden behind stuff that should be behind the character.
But that is really the only thing I can point out so far that really needs some attention. Other than that, it is a fun little game with a silly story. Well done.
Oh, and I love the title screen. It gave me the idea it would be a dark, mysterious game but it turned out to be something completely different.
While that package is unzipping, I can help you with the issue you mention about the unused files. Here is what you do:
Check all you plugins, one by one. Some of those will use sound files or graphics.
Now make an event on a map the player will never see, and make all those files be triggered by this event. You can use "Change Actor Image" for all face files, character files and SV battlers. You can use "Show Picture" for loose pictures. And "Play BMG/BGS/ME/SE" for audio.
Now deploy "exclude unused files" and everything should be included.
Thank you. ^,.^
I wondered if it was from my plugins, because I remembered when I was using the ARPG plugins I had the same issue.
I had no idea on what to do for a fix though, so that's super helpful!! <3
I'll definitely have a better (and smaller) version ready to go after the judging period if it's well received. >.<
