Yes, it was! Black because it's selfish, and White because it's healing. It mentions in the Magic section that the GM will have to categorize an individual spell as one or the other, and to just go with their intuition. To me, it's a matter of what kind of superstition it's based on, but YMMV.
Thank you! Yeah, the basic mechanic didn't seem to need to be limited to three stats, tho generally I tend to think less is more when it comes to stats.
