This was really good fun and was along the lines o the theme which was great.  At first I wasn't sure what I was doing but soon realised the spiders were getting splattered in the web.

I think having some feedback animation for the enemies on the webs would have been good.  And maybe making them hornets or something would have been ace.  But I really enjoyed this.

I love the mechanic - my main issues are that my webs are getting irreversibly stuck on things, and that the game doesn't really change as you progress...you need to add some new elements/challenges when the player reaches certain levels. Otherwise the player just needs to find a strategy that works and will just live forever. Also, I think I want more feedback (visuals or audio) when the enemies are getting hit. Really fun mechanic and nice idea!

Spider web mechanic was fun to play around with, but the power ups lead to a very low stakes games. You could add some enemies that dig out from beneath you or something with a puddle ability to force you out of a camping spot.

Cool game. Very innovative use of the web, I really like spinning one :)  Gameplay was easy going, could ramp up the difficulty as time goes on. Lots of places you could take this. Also liked the music.
Nice work!

Pretty satisfying game. The game has good visuals. I think the difficulty can definitely be upped a bit. But overall a very solid concept. Nice Job!

It's an excellent concept, but the difficulty curve needs work. Very early on I made a web-design that pretty much instant-kills enemies, with nothing for me to do but occasionally walking over to the edge of the web to collect the loot. In fact, I kept the game running while getting something to eat without any danger to myself. Currently up to 1000 kills, no sweat.

I could see many ways to add to the game, such as ranged enemies that try to stay away from you and you have to lure into the web, enemies being able to destroy the web (or if that's too complicated, drop slick goo that negates the damage from the web where it is), or jumping enemies that encourages you to make a specific web pattern to catch them easier.

Love the idea. It was lots of fun playing it. Def agree with what goddommitdom said about smoothing out the movement. Cause I'd be on low health and I'd get stuck on a rock *panic 100*. I also think you could use fewer drops. I honestly was just picking up whatever (except when I was low on health, then I'd go looking for hearts). The UI feels a bit overwhelming. No clue what half the stuff on it does. Besides that. Loved it!

I love this. Great application of the theme, and the creature design is delightful. Music is great. Aside from strength, web, and heart, I'm not sure what the drops do, and I'd love to see movement smoothed out a bit post-jam (slide around obstacles vs colliding with them), but there's something incredibly satisfying in weaving a huge web. (Or a tiny, tiny web, inside which you sit and wait for a moment to dart out and nab your upgrades. A tiny web fortress. That's satisfying, too.)

I am happy you enjoyed it, and thanks for the feedback.

Really really cool take on the theme. A bit unclear what some of the powerups do exactly, but it's really neat overall.

Thanks, it was difficult to convey lifesteal and some of the other abilities. I will try and find another way of conveying it
