Hi there,

at the begining of the jam description, it is mentioned something like portal on Snes, and at the end of the page it's said you can take an atari 2600 game  and make it for more recent console. I don't get the point , are we obliged to take a recent idea to port it on an old console, or classic retro games are demanded, ro maybe both ?

Well thanks to reply :)

But i'm still not sure, I copy copy/paste the text at the end of the jam overview:

Do I have to redesign a game newer than the console I鈥檝e chosen?

No, as an example you can take an Atari 2600 game and redesign it for the SNES

Still got questions? Be sure to ask your question in the discord server or DM one of the hosts directly!

As I'm pasting this I realize I should ask on Discord ;)

So , the thing is to remake any game retro. Even if is already a retro game, we just remake it.  Is this right??

Jam Host

You can remake any game on any retro console, so yes that is allowed.

Jam Host

the main idea, however is to make a newer game on an older console. Hope this clears things up a bit!
