I was surprised how at how good the atmosphere was in this game, the music and visuals work together to make you feel quite tense and it's very impressive. That being said, there isn't really much gameplay variety, and simply moving forward while occasionally scaring off a ghost or stopping at a campfire gets boring after a while. I also had a problem with lag at points, so I think having an option to disable/lower the amount of snow would have been good.
Overall though, this is very good for a first game. Well done!
I really like the atmosphere and the visuals. I think you really did a good job with it. However, I think there could be some improvements in the gameplay. I echo arachnid56's sentiments that there should be more things that we do in between firepits (aside from scaring away ghosts).
I think this is a really good effort for your first game. The visuals and music worked cohesively, and the intensifying snow created a spooky and desperate atmosphere. I would say that the game needed a mechanic (jumping over crevices for example) so there is something to do whilst going between firepits.
