Oh man that got hectic, but in a good way! I kept losing where I was and died, but it was easy to tell when I respawned. I also really appreciate that the timer in the top right isn’t a hard lose condition and just introduces an extra element.

Pretty game!

This is a great submission! I love the mechanic of the player and the enemies having a shared resource they must compete for. If I had one complaint it would be that, amid the chaos, it was difficult for me to tell when the enemy projectiles were about to shoot

Hey thanks for your kind comment! It is true that the patterns for when the enemies fire Isn't clear. I've been thinking about an elegant solution to this problem but it is kind of hard with such a limited resolution and small sprites. Will have it in mind for next updates.

Yeah those are tough constraints. Maybe something like having the sprite rapidly blink a different color? Whatever you decide, I'm looking forward to it!

Really fun! Only complaints are that it's a bit unclear what to do at the start and you have to go back to the first level if you die.

Developer

Thank you! Yes, it could have a small tutorial, also there's a lot of stuff going on at the same time, so if it is your first playthrough it can be confusing. The going back to the first level is as intended, because the game is really short (only 5 levels) the player should play many times until they master the mechanics. But to remedy this I am thinking about adding a "custom game" option, so you can customize the way you play the game (hearts, summon level, upgrades and game level), so I do have this in mind.
