I really like the idea of this game, but I have a question about combat. How do you determine if a shot hits? And how do I know when the duel is over?
MicroDuel was intended as an add-on subsystem to any other tabletop RPG. It's assuming you'd use the regular combat rules of whatever game you were playing.
