I like that the game has checkpoints and their colour changes make it easy to know when you have reached it. Teleporting back to its position is definitely a good thing to have in a game where getting knocked off is probably going to be a common occurrence.

The game definitely shines with stunning 3D visuals, featuring impressive textures and reflections. Unfortunately, my computer is not cut out for handling it so there is a lot of lag in the video I will be releasing today I hope, especially because of running the recording software at the same time. The robotic player looks fantastic and his ragdoll physics provided plenty of funny moments and made every fumble feel fun. I have watched the trailer video and the obstacles I didn’t get chance to see look really fun.

Nice job making a 3D game for a jam. I managed to beat this with a time of 13:05. Probably would’ve had a better time, but I got stuck on the last section before I realized I could use Shift key to run faster. I like that the checkpoints were pretty lenient and that there were even multiple paths the player could take, adding some replay value.

Since this is inspired by Wipeout, I feel like you could lean more into the “wipeout” aspect of the game. Since a big appeal of that show is watching people lose and fall, I think you’d want to make the “losing “ part of the game as entertaining as possible (if that makes sense). The ragdoll physics are a good start. However, adding some good sound effects, or voice clips, or maybe even some particle effects when the player gets hit or collides with an obstacle would make the player really feel that impact and could make it more entertaining when they lose. Maybe the player character could say things or scream when they fall, as another example. I think additions like this would compliment this game well. Right now, the game feels barren with the lack of sounds and music.

This was an interesting game. I think you could lean more into the wipeout influence a bit more if you decide to add more to this. I could see this easily being expanded on with more levels and more paths in each one. Thanks for submitting!

I really appreciate your advice and that you at least played the game! I am an indie developer, this is my first game that I have ever uploaded online except for a few scratch projects. I might update the game and put in some of the features that you suggested once I figure out how to update a game on itch.
