I really like that shooting the enemies is used to reveal the invisible platforms. The glow effects on the platforms look amazing and I like that the green plasma ooze from the enemies activates them to be solid and also makes them move too. It’s good that more enemies can be made by shooting their spawn point but I think it is a little dark and if someone’s monitor has a reflection it can be tricky to see the spawn point. One other thing that I noticed whilst playing is that the player can’t jump when standing on top of an enemy and I think that it’s something that would be really cool to be able to do. I had a lot of fun dodging the enemies and luring them in position, and overall it’s a really good game

I'll keep you posted when I make my YouTube video, which all being well should be tomorrow

This is a nice, original take on the invisible platforms theme. Like the other commenters, I had some difficulty understanding exactly what was expected of me, so some explanation or visual clue that I was progressing by shooting the enemies would help a lot. I didn't understand the dark red spots that kept spawning new baddies no matter how many times I shot them. However, the sound is really nice and the concept original. A great entry to the jam. Keep them coming!

nice submission!

Should defiantly put a tiny text tutorial because its not clear enough what needs to be done.

i like the idea of shooting enemies to activate platforms, thats a nice take to the "invisible" theme :)

I saw you wrote its your 2nd game developed for a Jam, keep up the good work and try to time what you have to do in order to release, dont forget about tutorials and gameplay.

keep up the good work :)

thanks alot for your comment, it helps to continue being motivated on making games. The idea is to take more seriously game development and produce interesting games for the community.

Note:  I played for some minutes your game, I'll be reviewing it this week.

I like the idea of destroying enemies to create platforms, I've not seen it done like this. 10/10 for creativity. Looks simple but nice. I feel like the gameplay could be improved a little though, I didn't personally enjoy being attacked by these glowing red balls and losing health, maybe someone else watching me would lol. I think one shot should be enough to destroy them if I am honest. The gun is cool and like the sound it makes. I'm not sure if you are aware but I thought I should use arrow keys to move as a picture shows them, but is actually A and D.

I've not got far in the game but if you haven't already perhaps you could have another weapon to make the enemies explode to give you lift. Like your ideas. Would be interesting to see what changes you make . Good luck!

thank you for your awesome feedback. I'll take this into account to improve the gameplay. There are many things to improve, starting for the tutorial. Lots of things were postponed to fix at the end, and as you can see they were forgotten. Hahahah.

In this game, it seems you must shoot at the red ball enemies to make invisible platforms appear. Shooting the enemies will release green particles that fall on and activate the invisible platforms, making them solid and, in some cases, begin moving, allowing the player to jump on them and progress to the end of the section.

I like the concept of killing enemies being tied to making the platforms appear. However, I was a little unclear on the mechanics at first. In the first section, I only had to kill a single stationary enemy to make the platform appear, so I was confused when I’d kill an enemy later to spawn a platform and a platform wouldn’t spawn or would spawn but not be solid. I thought it was a bug at first before I eventually realized it seems you needed to kill multiple enemies to fully activate the platform as well as be near the spot an invisible platform would be in. You might consider adding text or a tutorial to better explain the mechanic to avoid the initial confusion. To be honest, I’m not sure if I still fully understand the mechanics.

I would also suggest adding some hints to where the invisible platforms would be (assuming there weren’t any I missed).

Overall, this is a neat concept. It can also be quite tricky when the enemies keep spawning and overwhelming you. Clarifying how the main mechanics would definitely help a lot.

Thanks for submitting!
