The art is perfect.
I think the gameplay and difficulty works really well, and overall the game is very enjoyable. Without adding any other content, my only change would be to increase how fast holding "down" makes the blocks fall at the start of the game.
This was quite fun and well made. I especially liked the opening cutscene and "tutorial" message. The variety of items and their collision shapes suprised me as they seemed quite polished for a 48 hour jam -- good job!
Love the art style on this. The difficulty as you get higher did feel well paced as well. Being able to skip the starting cutscene would be my only suggestion. Awesome job!

The idea of building a tower is great, but the blocks with traps are pretty easy to avoid.

That short film at the beginning of the game pulled my heartstrings :(. Very nice game. Enjoyed it a lot. Those blocks that shoot out the red X killed me so so so many times XD Perfect balance between fun and hard. Very nice Entry.
