How have you integrated the theme in your game?
I started with classic RPGs.
In those games, there's a rule like: Kill enemies -> gain experience -> level up. I decided to break that rule. In Rumormonger, to become stronger, you need to spread rumors about your strength.

With a little polish this could be great. The main problem right now is that everything feels disconnected. Maybe you could make it that real actions influence related lies. For example, killing a dragon is way more believable if I just killed something big. Or if you actually kill a dragon you can tell them you fought a swarm of goblins alone with a toothpick and they believe you.
You're right, that was the initial idea. But personal circumstances prevented me from implementing it on time. And it was too ambitious, given my lack of time and power.
