This is a cool concept for a game. I love the microbiology emphasis, and I think the music conveyed a sciency vibe, so really great job there. I think the theme implementation makes sense, although it often felt like I was using weapons (the viruses) rather than acting as the weapon on my own.
The level design was really great, and I definitely felt like I was inside a human body. The fact that the walls were not entirely smooth, but instead had some interesting inlets/outlets and shadows made it particularly immersive. I definitely got some cool Osmosis Jones vibes, which I see in your GDD was one of your game's inspirations.
One thing that seemed to be missing was some start-of-game guidance on what the game's objective is. Even having a brief overlay before the game starts to tell players what they should be trying to do would be useful. I did really appreciate the on-screen list of controls, but I wasn't really sure what to do with them. I eventually noticed that if I sent a virus at one of the large yellow balls, it disappeared, but I wasn't able to move forward from there.
Overall, great work. I can see myself playing more of this game once it's more fleshed out.

Summarise your game!
VirUs is a pikmin-style puzzle-platformer that takes place in a microscopic world - Inside the human body. The player controls a nanobot tasked with using viruses present in the body to navigate its way to the brain.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player-controlled nanobot is a weapon used to destroy the human body through the control of destructive viruses.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Some players have noted it is not clear you must switch virus types (Tab) and throw at rings above you (Q for aiming guide) in the second level
