  • Great artistic style, clever gameplay, I wish I could use my left hand though. Theme for this game jam is Shadows AND alchemy, Alchemy part was lacking.

Yes

Tell us about your game!
A mix between Guitar Hero/Rocksmith and that Ostrich Level from the SNES Lion King game. You control the fingers of a virtual hand to transform the hand's shadow into characters with different abilities. But you have to be quick because the longer you take, the less battery is left in the flashlight. And no light means death.

Extra Notes
I'm a professional animator but this my first game jam and first released little game. Thank you for being wholesome and awesome!

Fun little game! Getting the hang of it was super satisfying and I made it to 642m (rookie numbers)? I think a penalty for hitting the wrong keys would have been cool and made it more difficult, but I like the flashlight dimming faster as difficulty escalation as well! Well done!

Thank you for the feedback! Oh yeah, that's a nice idea as well. I was actually looking into this at some point but with the deadline approaching I decided to just go with what I had instead. But I could imagine adding something like this as a "difficulty +" option in the future.
