- Very enjoyable game with a good feel, really loved the artistic design. The sound was also excellent! I think a little more guidance would benefit players as to what is expected of them, some form of tutorial or even visual prompt to let players know what they should be doing with the controls, not just what the controls are

Will Samos comes from a watchmaker family.
He became a man of science but kept his faith as a man who believes that his work can solve some of the mysteries of the Cosmos.
Wheel of Will is a puzzle game where you operate a machine that blends the powers of science and religion. By exposing the SoRa worshipers (RED) to light and NuPhele worshipers (BLUE) to shadow, players complete rituals that feed the machine in order to help Will Samos on his journey to meet the divine.

Extra Notes
Art was a major focus during the development process since everyone on the team has an artistic background. We hope you enjoy the soundtrack, the visuals and the game-feel. Until the next one! kitchen gang out

You guys knocked it out of the park with the art! Game feels great, although I didn't understand how to play. I checked out the game design slides (really nice too) and I got a better understanding, but really looking forward to the full tutorial! Good job guys :)
thank you so much . we are already working on a lot of improvements so keep following us and you will be rewarded! :)
super cool! The animations and sounds really make me feel controlling a mechanical device. I was fascinated by the mystery although it wasn't easy to figure out what the actual goal was even in the first level ("is blue an opponent now who I have to counter? What is the winning condition?"). Played till level 4 or so and I might come back for more! Also cool idea with the writing system. Made me try decyphering the background assets for hidden messages :D
thank you so much for the feedback. we know the game lacks a tutorial that really tells the player step by step what we managed to explain in the GDD but im glad you explored and managed to get past the 3rd level. hope you come back often to see what we are cooking.
I tried, and I could guess it would be good gameplay using the wheel and different layers. But I could not figure it out now... The art is amazing and the game is juicy! Like the performance and the atmosphere!
We appreciate your comment friend! Really awesome that you liked the visuals and game feel - we put a lot of effort into those :) We'll add a proper tutorial and some nice puzzles after we recover from the gamejam sprint
You said art was a focus and it showed! It's very cool and mysterious looking. The puzzles confused me a bit, but I think my brain is just fried after days of almost no sleep. I'll come back to this one and see how I do, because I love puzzle games like this!
Thank you so much buddy! There's still a good amount of work to be invested in building a good tutorial, adding more visual feedback and coming up with puzzles that reward the player. That will definitely be our focus for a post-gamejam update! We're really glad you enjoyed the looks and atmosphere and if you need any help on how the machine works, feel free to ask us :)
I'm too dumb to figure this game out xD It's beautiful though! I love the detail of writing letters in the negative space of symbols. It makes me think of some type of historian discovering some ancient secret and writing it down in their notes.
we feel you. we wanted to make the player explore and get the general feel of the game by trial and error. if it meant you were frustrated before you got to have fun maybe we were to ambitious in our call. thanks for the complements on the art, it definitely can improve but we are really happy with the outcome of the game jam. thanks for the feedback!
Really cool game, at first it is hard to get into but its really fun!
thank you very much friend. hope you come back to it!
