- Would love to see the jam spread on each spead. Loved the toaster, and the overall vibe of the game. I think with more added it could be pretty cool!

Destined to spread, yo begin your new life, in a food truck, your trusty spreading knife in hand, to spread jam and happiness in beautiful places around the world. Your time has come to make grandma proud, its time to Just Spreads.

Heh, yeah tough to see what you're spreadin', but a nice chill little submission. Moog-y music, some nice little animations. Sweet. Not entirely sure why we're discarding so much toast, but I guess we're SPREADING it to the world...

fun concept. I can see where you were going with this. as a few others have mentioned some feedback on the spreading would help a ton. the idea of the location changing and just hurling the toast out the window in various locations is very funny. mechanics aside the visuals in this game were super solid. the toaster is flippin adorable. keep up the great work

The texture painting feature was something we wanted to add but didn't quite get there. Biggest success of our very first jam was how well the team continues to get along and enjoys working together, so expect to see that feature added in the future!

One suggestion for future improvement, would be to show some visual progress when spreading, so you see it spread on thinly at first, then more and more until the final jam-covered slice. I was a little unsure if I was doing it properly at first due to the lack of visual feedback (other than the knife sliding over the toast).
This could become an odd little niche simulator game on Steam, if you decided to take it that far :P I’d probably wishlist it, too.

Funny. I had a feeling there would be a lot of butter/jam games good stuff. I would add some kind of indication that the toast is having jam spread on it, you can't tell just from using the knife. The knife has a jam fading animation but the toast should get a jam fading IN animation. Nice job!
