  • A valiant attempt at re-creating a 4x strategy game, that passes the theme check (barely), is gorgeous and completely functional. It offers multiple victory conditions, but not a lot of strategy between them. I'm not sure how this could be developed more; it is currently a fully-functional version of what it aims to be, but it is unlikely to ever be more than that. The genre simply requires so much more depth and complexity. Endearing, but simple.
  • Tiny little 4x! this was EXCELLENT. perfectly functional, short and sweet with a bit of fleshing out. looking forward to seeing more work from you guys, extremely enjoyable little jaunt.
  • Really good game! The only thing I had an issue with were the popup menus—sometimes they'd not be readable if I'm too zoomed in—and it was difficult to be specific with the number sliders. Other than that, was great! Good job!
  • Great concept that could grow with some balancing and additional technologies. Cool use of theme.

I adored this game. I didn't read the tutorial cuz I didnt have much time and it looked very complex but then I played and I actually got to finish the befriending ending in 30 days, so I think it is a very well toughout game that isn't veryu difficult.
The art is absolutly adorable and I like that there's more ending options. Thank you for making this game <3

This is hands down the most polished game I have played so far this jam. Incredible art, fun and cute concept, and overall just a joy to play. I just wish the tutorial was a little more interactive instead of just text, but aside from that, its an incredible game I could see myself getting lost in!

Great little strategy game. Really nice. The only little nag was the inverted right mouse navigation. Good stuff!

Very cool concept, I really enjoyed playing it! Everything feels good and the idea is consistent.

I would love to see more content added to the game! Congratulations on making it!

this game is a pretty complex and well designed entry, great job! just two notes:
- it was pretty hard to read some infos and the UI, as the letters were super small in many cases. maybe it's some compatibility issue with retina displays (mac user here), worth to look into if you'd like to further develop the idea
- pls lower the saturation contrast for the wooden and grass tiles, or have the option to change them flat, it takes away from the otherwise very nice visuals

good job!

Thanks for the compliments!

I'll take your suggestions into account on a post-jam version. Had no idea about the mac issue. The option to change the saturation might be complicated to do, but I'll surely look into it. Thanks again!

What a good game. Like... seriously. The fact that you did this for a gamejam is incredible. I'm not sure I have any constructive criticism for you, because everything I could say feels nitpicky in a way you're probably already aware of. This may well be my favorite jam entry of the few dozen I've played thus far. Good luck!

This is a really cool game! I like the art and sound design. The game is easy to understand when you follow the tutorial. Completed a run in 30 days. Liked it a lot!

I seriously LOVE the art style! very cute idea and really impressive how much you have in here for the jam. Needs balancing for sure after the jam, and it feels strange for the game to default to recommending half the available rat colony when it needs far less than that to complete a building in one day. But there's a TON of potential here, nice work!

Hi, thanks for the feedback! And I agree with you. I also felt the game is too easy right now, and some tweaking could help with that for sure. Default to half the rats also ended up feeling weird, but I wanted to be done with my entry at some time haha

Thanks again, glad you enjoyed playing!
