A 2D pixel platformer where you switch between the real world and ghost world in order to overcome obstacles.
The story revolves around a girl named Kara who lost her sister in an attempt to use the resurrection stone to revive her parents.
She returns to the place where her sister died and is determined to complete the climb they started and get to the resurrection stone to revive her.
Kara is presented with choices along the way, that shape the game's ending.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The theme of this jam is: "The world is watching you"
As you platform you are presented with morally ambiguous choices that effect your relation with Alice and ultimately affect the ending.
As you make these decisions Alice watches you, and because she's your only family left, she is your world.

The entire story is explained through lore tablets and dialogues.

This is a really cool game, both music and art, but a bit glitchy with the swapping worlds. I got pretty stuck about 10-15min - in after the bridge and forcefield, glitched through terrain to a spot, then could not make the jump between the two rapid spike balls.

I also added a failsafe to reset levels you just need to press P
Glitched into walls several times swapping worlds, but not there... just probably skill issue before the spike balls. Just ran out of time.
I will say I couldnt figure out a proper solution to going into the walls when swapping worlds so I just figured players could switch back to prevent soft locking themselves. Ill think of a better solution post game jam.
I'll also upload a gameplay video soon if you were curious to see how it ended, but thank you so much for the feedback
