  • Was definitely fun to play, would love to see upgrades or progression of some kind. The theme was a little weak here but that's ok, you've got lots of breathing room. Interesting use of enemy AI and pathing and I know how that takes time. Love the art style!

Intuitive fun design that teaches you as you go. Very cool, and good performance on browser is cool.

Thank you!

i like how the little ships attack the base. im not sure if my mouse isnt working when i right click. i think it needs some groovy music and some fun sound effects to keep the player engaged

Developer

Autoturrets (right-click deployed) must first be collected as a tool from a shattered asteroid. You start with 0.

I like the graphics, performance is very smooth on Firefox.

Bullets are too slow and could do with a beefier sound effect. (And some screenshake!)

Developer

Thank you for the feedback. Player's bullets will fly faster!

Developer

Hello, would you be so kind and try the game again? Bullets have been sped up and overall there's a ton of improvements.

I like the new tutorials. Though, I didn't notice the HUD information on top until I pressed [F11] to make my web browser go full screen. Doing so revealed more of the game that was covered by the taskbar and web browser UI.

I still feel the bullets are very slow,  and the shooting sound effect should always play whenever a bullet gets created. It's a bit awkward holding Left Click to auto-fire and have the sound effect only play some of the times.

I recommend you check out the following talks on YouTube if you haven't already as they do a fantastic job breaking down how to make a game *feel* more gamey and overall more fun. You have a very fun game only a few small tweaks away!

And don't be afraid to exaggerate and go overboard! even very tonally-serious games do these things.

Found a bug? Please, definitely let me know, ideally with steps to reproduce.

How's the performance? Is the stuttering too much? Feel free to say so and share your configuration.

Thank you, and enjoy!
