Hey, I don't mean to scare you, but there is a chance that your chat bot could get into some legal trouble. The chat bot says that it collects its information from scientific journals, medical textbooks, reputable websites, and collaborations with other experts in the field. However, every time it gives information on specific rare diseases, it does not provide the sources where it got the information from. If it is copying information from these sources with linking the source, that would be plagiarism and copyright infringement. I put its text through a plagiarism detector, and there was significant plagiarism detected, and considering that the bot does not provide the sources, that could get the game into trouble if it wins or goes commercial. I'd recommend seeing if there is a way you could link the sources that your chat bot trained on, either in the chat bot's responses or in the credits of your game. You'd have to ask the hosts of the gamejam if you can make such edits, but it is pretty important considering the possible legal ramifications.
The Terms of Use of Chat GPT state that "...You are responsible for Content, including ensuring that it does not violate any applicable law or these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to provide Input to our Services." Even if it is accidental, using chat gpt can result in copyright infringement, which is a big problem.
Here is some more information about the the possible legal ramifications of using ChatGPT. It says that "...if the output of an AI model closely resembles a specific copyrighted work created by a human author, there could be grounds for legal action." Currently, plagiarism checkers say that this is the case for some responses.
I highly recommend that you look into this, as I would hate for a good game to get disqualified because it got into legal trouble on accident.
