Dive into the extraordinary world of AI-driven gaming experiences and embark on a quest to raise awareness and understanding of rare diseases. Our theme this year invites you to harness the innovation and creativity of artificial intelligence to create truly unique and impactful games.

🌟 What Are We Looking For? 🌟

Your mission is to craft digital experiences that seamlessly blend the power of AI with the realm of gaming. Think interactive storytelling, AI-driven NPCs, procedurally generated worlds, and beyond! Break new ground and enlighten players about the challenges faced by those with rare diseases through the magic of AI-infused gaming.

🎯 Guidelines for Your AI-Powered Creations:

• Your game must be developed using one of these engines:
  • Unity 3D 
  • Godot
  • Unreal Engine
  • GDevelop 5
  • Propose Other? Please email us to give us more info about it! (It should be able to export to WebGL)
  • If the game does not work on the browser (for example the itch.io page) we will discard the game from the Gamejam.
• Ensure compatibility with WebGL for accessibility. (It must work on a web browser)
• Embrace the theme of "Artificial Intelligence" while addressing the issues surrounding rare diseases whenever possible, but it is not mandatory.
• Educate and raise awareness about the unique challenges faced by individuals with rare diseases whenever possible.
• Make your game accessible and enjoyable for players of all ages.
• Earn extra points by offering your game in multiple languages apart from English. Go the extra mile and make it available in Chinese, French, or Spanish for maximum impact!
• Engage with the gaming community using the hashtag #patient73jam2024 on social media to boost your game's visibility and impact.

These are the main points that the judges will take into consideration when judging your submission:

1. Relation with the Gamejam's main Theme.
2. Innovation

4. Quality of Interaction (Inclusiveness)
5. Visual aesthetics

• First Prize: €3000 for the victorious team or individual developer.
• Second Prize: €2000 for the second-place champions.
• Third Prize: €1000

If you are a team, maximum 5 people, and only one member of the team needs to register on itch.io. Price will be given to the team as a whole and not to every member of the team.
