new favorite videogame weapon: the fire G
This is a very good implementation of the theme. I had a blast and I think I'll come back to this after the jam ends. Like others, I hope this sees further updates because not fleshing this out would be a crime.
10/10 i played this for wayyyy too long haha, satisfying game, very well designed. Loved it. :D
Very cool idea 9/10, had fun beating up walking tortilla chips. Would be nice if we know what each power up does beforehand. Other than the crash due to collision of power ups with the health bar, which was common when I was playing because I found the health bar to be the easiest way to deal damage, it's good.

At first we thought about a UI element like a card with an icon and a description but didn't have enough time and ended up leaving just the icon
At first I thought the game was just about wacking enemies with the UI (which is a really creative idea!), but then I saw how you had to fill up the "mana" meter by dragging it to the enemies' bodies and it got you updates and was happily surprised. A very interesting roguelike. If you want to expand it, having each UI element (start, options, health bar) inflicting different types of damage or various types of enemies can increase the complexity :)
Wow, that was a good example of "think outside the box" concept. Very well designed game here. Well done mate!
PS: Options is most efficient weapon as acts like a great sword :D

Maybe one proble: screen was too big for me initially, maybe try starting with lower resolution when not in fullscreen?
One of the best games i have played, sound design is top notch! i loved the look and boy what a great idea to use anything (almost) as a weapon. Please build on this gem and make it a full game. you will be successfull i am sure.

Best game I've tried so far! You guys came up with a really cool idea, It took me longer that I wanna admit figuring out how to restart the game lol.

It’s one of the best game I played on the jam so far.
I love the way game smoothly starts from the “main menu”)
I also found a minor issue: whenever I tried to buff a hp bar I got an error.
But dont worry it doesnt affect on rating from me, bc the error is the feature)

The minimalist pixel art is so cute! I spent a good while just bashing the mobs with the words lol. If you do decide to expand on this project, I think it has the potential to have an addictive gameplay loop.
