  • Great work man! I love your use of custom pixel art, and broken mechanics. I saw some comments on your game page and wondered to myself if they actually understood that you were exactly on theme with the Jam 🤔 Who knows... Drown out the haters lol. Keep it up!

Recoil is a great mechanic, bouncing on the walls was fun, but it was easy to lose control, maybe slightly more drag would make the player feel they have a little more control.  Maybe some obstacles in the middle of the arena too, which can stop your movement would enable for more strategic options.  Overall, enjoyed zipping through the level, great job!

Absolutely agreed! If I were to ever continue the project, I'd probably put a lot more time into the environment and have that affect movement the most.

I like the "bounciness" of hitting the edges of the arena. I can see the vision - fun idea!

Thanks, man! I had a lot of computer and mouse trouble during the jam, but I'm happy I could at least get the proof of concept submitted.
