How does your game bring our theme, The Error is the Feature, to life?
Each random effect from collecting strawberries is a bug I encountered during the development of this game.

Therefore, the error became the fun.

No

Did you use the Audius API in your game?

No

Glad I kept spamming Z.

Cool little game :D

Aw thank you :) the downloaded version has a couple more effects that can happen when collecting strawberries. Its essentially the same game but it adds a little bit more fun.

Thanks so much for playing

"Simple", but addicting, has a lot of potential, loved little Maverick. :]

The web build took a bit of pressing "Z" to work, but in the end i was able to play it!

Thank you! I greatly appreciate the kind words :D

the web version is broken

Developer

Thanks for bringing that up!

I mention that in the description. It somewhat works if I reload the page or click the game window a few times and press 'z' but downloading the game for your platform is the best way to test it out.

Either way, I'm sorry it is broken. I was struggling to figure out love.js within the jam's time frame. I'm working on fixing it now as well as getting it downloadable on PortMaster and working on any platform that has RetroArch installed (by porting my game to Lutro).

Web version worked for me when pressing Z and clicking a lot, to get past the start - thanks for the instruction!

Oh I'm so glad it worked for someone else haha! I've only been able to test on my computer and my wife's, so I didn't have lots to go off of. Thanks for playing!

Try highlighting "build with" in the bottom right corner of the game window then pressing Z to see if it works.
