All I know is I found a game-crashing bug in mine due to a single miswritten variable name 4 minutes after the deadline and I fixed it so I hope so, lol. Probably if you had just done it nobody would have noticed. I certainly don't care as long as you're not adding anything
I would try to avoid fixing bugs during the voting period, but if there is something that is stopping your game from playing then it's alright if you fix that.
