each "mai tai" instrument plays every sequence of notes forwards, then backwards. sometimes in the same melody, other times i tried to switch it up to make it less basic although this theme was pretty difficult to create something with in little time. had an idea tho so just stuck with it. and these are just built in studio one sounds as i haven’t looked into many VST’s aside from pianos
Difficulty
Make a piece that has the same musical notes both forwards and backwards but doesn’t have to be an identical recording.

interesting musical composition.
I liked the percussion solo to start it got me intrigued to hear the rest of the song!
I do think the first melodic section kind of lets it down however because of how simplistic it is with just basically a scale up and down.
I think a tad more bombastic first section after the percussion solo would make the song flow even better!
Although not necessarily fitting theme B, I can hear the palindrome ideas in the melodies. 👍👍👍
I find the track a bit too "barebones" if that makes any sense. Could use more elements to sound fuller, especially the lack of low end, which makes the track sound hollow.
this was pretty decent! nice work!
This slaps hard, I was hooked from the beginning. Only critique is that I don't think it fits category B - it definitely utilized palindromic elements but it wasn't exactly the same notes forwards and backwards.
thank u! yeah the categories were a little confusing i wasnt sure if itd go in A or B, but i just meant each group of notes was played forwards then backwards
