Act 1: ooh that bass. I was bobbing my head along.

Act 2: Minor critique is how the volume dropped off from the last track. More groovy bass!

ssod: My favorite track for sure. I love the chord choices and smooth af instrumentation. And then that brass!

Great work!

I deeply appreciate it bru! 🌵

These were super groovy and fun!

There was some discrepancy with the volume of each track with the first one being a nice volume and the other 2 being far quieter.

I too am a percussionist but honestly percussion was the hardest part of music production to get a good grasp on for me and I still don't feel like I'm all that good at it.

I appreciate the feedback. The percussion is always kind of hard for me as well , but I'm sure we both did fine.

big preesh!- bumpus 🌲

Act 1 is lowkey a vibe. The glitchout at around 0:50 was unexpected, but you pulled it off well! If it was your reversing of the song, I did not really hear the same musical notes forwards and backwards (maybe I'm misunderstanding the prompt - same notes, but different rhythm?)

For Act 2, the bass is more in tune with the drums (You hit a lot of 80s 8th note runs). Addition of the saxophone was a nice addition to the texture to the song. Again with the glitch stuff, this time it was pulled off less well (in my humble opinion) mainly because the Sax was the main line (and got detuned while the rest wasn't).

I like your slapp bass runs. I felt like Act 2 was missing an ending - it just... drops and doesnt come back.

Act 3:

nice reverse piano! you seemed to reverse everything first except for the flute + main melody. Very interesting texture.

Nice piano break. I think you stuck with the theme / vibe of the song. Though the perucssion (hi-hat + the synopated drums) end up taking over the piano, which harms the structural integrity of the piano.

Nice addition of brass! I like the climbing trumpets. Makes me feel like I'm in a 90s spy cartoon.

Thank you so so much for the precise feedback! I had a ton of fun writing this at ( 2 am LMAO), the time I saw what I could improve on to implement it in my everyday video game composing and whatnot. I'm a percussionist, so I sometimes get carried away with drumset stuff. BUt ThAnkS fOr The FeedbAck! 🫵🌲

I liked the funky bass in the first song! I loved the last one, it’s my favorite one out of the three! Great job!

I appreciate that I was on crunch time when I made this, but I'm glad you like it! 🫶🌲

There's seemingly no way to listen to this.

Developer

You're right, lol. I've just updated everything to be able to listen to it. My apologies 🙏🦕
