Description
Ambient + electronic
Any sort of game really. Action game probably. Something where it makes sense for things to suddenly turn high-stakes. Survival horror maybe.

It's a two-part arrangament made of loopable sections. One part is an area theme for a mysterious cave, then it turns into the same piece, but arranged VERY differently, for a sudden transportation to the Other World. The Elsewhere, if you will.

I used Bitwig Studio and a few third-party plugins, mostly Spitfire LABS, Vital and TAL synth repros for the sounds, then Output Thermal and Audio Damage EOS for effects. Also Wavesfactory Trackspacer & Spectre for mixing.

All of it is based around one (two technically, but really just one) chord progression, with basslines, arpeggios and drones built around it. I did it that way to make it feel quite static (dirty word; let's say "sense of place" instead) in the ambient part. The otherworld section is built out of the exact same composition, but in a different tempo, different instrumentation and aggressive FX work.

I hope you like it!

How does it fit the theme?
It's an area theme for the cave pictured switching between two worlds, a mysterious one and a dangerous one.

Yummy breakcore vibes...! Really cool textures going on too, in both halves!
B section could use something to break up the repetition of the mono arp, if not extra instruments on top, maybe a key or instrument change?

Overall digging the vibe tho!

Great textures!

Nice vibe! As Suo already mentioned, the sticks are bit too much in the foreground. The sticks might work nicely as an added tension layer that fades in and out depending on the game state, so for example: the first part without the sticks is the default exploration/no tension loop and when more tension is needed the sticks fade in as an additional layer to change the mood.

Liked both parts! (although first part was too long for me, sorry I skipped xD) In the ambient section, though, the stick sound bothered me a lot, ahahah, it was too loud, and didn't fit with the vibe, in my opinion.

Creepy! Very immersive

this is some really nice stuff! I feel like the more ambient section could have been slightly shorter (though in the context of a game that wouldnt matter, it would work quite well looping on and on there.) I could see this being used as adaptive music, the further you go into the cave, the more of the louder elements come in.

Listening to it, I could really see a kind of "fuzzy" scene that turns into an "escape" scene when the intense part kicks in. Really liked it, tho I which there was some kind of kick or crash when the escape scene with the drums starts.

Overall, well done. Sounds very fitting to the theme.
