You have a great sense of timing with music and it adds a lot of emotion through both songs. Great work!
Thanks a lot! Love that pfp by the way.

I thought your first track made excellent use of space to make listeners wait for big payoffs!
Awesome, good to know it also worked that way. Thank you!

Hey... It was epic, beautiful, dynamic and... Do I need to say something else?
Oh, right. Great work with percussion! (I love percussion)
Thanks!
Yeah, I love percussion too! Along with the brass section.
Thanks for the nice words!

Great to hear, thank you!! :)

Great work with the orchestration, and I love the stop-gap breaks that appear throughout. Super solid arranging of the strings throughout; using a lot of different articulations to their strengths here. Kudos on the percussion as well - I think this is the most thoughtful and developed orchestral percussion I've heard from an orchestral submission.
Having Sweet Ode resort to sustained strings and leaving the woodwinds to take the lead was a genius was to shift the tone and mood of the piece accordingly. Enjoyed the change of pace and the pensive approach - an opportunity to breathe after the drama beforehand. Could easily hear these tracks and its sections being used in a variety of games.
Great work here - I think you've got a knack for really understanding how to layer different instruments properly without one or the other completely dominating the mix.
Thank you!! :)

Really nice work on these! I really liked the cheeky little interjections by the high strings and piano, they took your otherwise dark and stormy orchestration to a slightly more mischievous place. And on your note about the second track, I think the beauty of soundtracks is that you don’t need to go ham on the production of every piece, you can let some of them be simple and bare relative to the others. That kind of contrast is honestly key to a balanced set of pieces. Having it at the end like you did can do a good job of putting listeners at ease as you night want at the end of a game, I could also imagine it being something like a village theme for the start of the game. Either way, I enjoyed these tracks, nice job!
You are right. I feel like I sometimes forget to start simple and try to instead create endless layers where one could get lost in . You and Bakuda gave me feedback that made things way clearer, thanks.

If Sweet Ode was rushed, it doesn't show it. It's simple and effective, and my favorite of the two!
Awesome! Thanks for listening.

Mind Battle was very aptly named. It was initially not too pleasing to the ear but as I read the description I realized it's not supposed to be. Sweet Ode was very much the opposite. Don't worry about it being so simple. It's the simple nature of the song that gives it its beauty. Very well done.
I really like your words here as you hit right in the nail, I think the first track is a bit too complex too. The second track was made in just a few hours, that's why I call it rushed, but it's simplicity as you said makes it somewhat listenable. I really want to remember this comment you left as I go on.

This makes a good "Pirates of the Caribbean" theme! Also is it me, but is the audio panned all the way to the right?
Partly correct. It is mostly the strings that stay on the right channel.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification!
