Description
In my soundtrack I tried to make some music which was inspired by ambience and 32 bit music. My DAW of choice is FL Studio.
Message from the artist:
Feel free to give me some feedback on my music.
Theme:
Story of Seasons
How does it fit the theme?
The Purple Ocean by me, is made with the intention of giving you a picture of the ocean during Autumn. Whereas Chirping in Space is my attempt of making 32 bit music.

so atmospheric! especially the purple ocean; both tracks were a vibe all around
The Purple Ocean: I like how you add environmental elements into your music with the wind swells and the plucky rainfall. You have a nice groove and solid chords. One suggestion I have for this track is that with the rainfall synth playing notes out of time, your mix would benefit from lowering the volume on this and putting it more in the background so it doesn’t distract from the nice steady groove that is so easy to listen to.
Chirping in Space: You have a solid foundation with your ambient chords that produce a nice chill lofi feel. It would be awesome to hear some variation in the chords depending on how long you intend the player to stay in this area of the game. You have all the pieces though to a track that creates the SNES space feel!
Overall: I appreciate how you were able to keep the vibe similar between these two tracks indicating to the listener that they belong in the same game even though they were intended for vastly different environments. Thank you for sharing and keep up the good work!
Hi Blue Lava
I really appreciate your feedback and i'm looking forward to making some more music for game jams in the future, your advice is taken into consideration for further productions. It's true that I should've turned down the volume on the rain, I also thought about that but I have yet to figure out how to use the mixer properly.
Couldn't help but groove along with these two - the Purple Ocean is so spacious and atmospheric!
Thanks SeraJakob
I'll definitely be making some more of this type of music in the future.
