Interesting story and concept; felt like the Goddess was under-utilized. I wanted to hear her thoughts on what the dwarves were doing, more than anything; I was wondering what she had told the priest, and how, and how the priest had reacted, and how the brother had reacted the first time. It felt like the timing of this vignette is a little off, like the most interesting parts - the revelation, the initial confrontation, the arrest, the punishment - were all pushed to the side in favor of a vividly rendered, but ultimately flat conversation where neither side changed their mind.

This is a very intriguing work and I really like what you've set up here. I wish the whole work was about the first narrator, the "Goddess of Sin and Evil". To me, *she* was the most interesting character in the piece, and I would love to explore more of the mythos around her. Why has a goddess of music been forced into the role of goddess of evil? Who's "requiring" that she visit cruelty on people? Who are the other divinities she speaks about, and how do they fit into this? For my two bits, it's her story that really reflects on what it means to be a "bad guy" in one of the most classic ways: is it, or when is it, acceptable to do evil to attain a good outcome? Do the ends justify the means, in other words.

Ouch. Given a 'gift' in the form of a nightmarish vision, and then treated like an insane person. Good idea for a story.

Hey just letting you know, the file isn't working for me! Think it might be because of the double extension of .docx.pdf ! Really looking forward to reading this one, gonna check back in a couple days!

You can probably just rename it on your end and cut out the docx bit. I think that's worked before for me when I've run afoul of it elsewhere.
