I will likely present my entry as HTML, how many words/illustration space do I get for that?
Depends on the size of you illustrations of course; I aim for ~500 words. That's about 60-70% of the content of the page, but also with minimum font size (9pt). If you're curious, you can have a look on my itch page to see what that looks like.
That's a good rule of thumb. Maybe I'll layout a print version first if I have the time, then it'll be sure.
